A lorry wheel spins in the mud on a moonless night; you pull out of one rut and land in another. This is the story of a man determined to improve his life, drawn into another man’s dream and a web of fear and false hope; a desolate mountain pub sinking into the undergrowth; a magnet for the bizarre. The “heroic” walk among us, acts of courage go unnoticed, and this fool is singing about roosters.
